This project currently holds the record for the fastest turnaround ever! Smith & Cork were approached by a leading national standby power provider to assist with the electrical installation and switchboard manufacture for 2 x 250kW gas engines.
A design was quickly brought together including:
- 1250A switchboard drawings
- Fault level study
- Breaker coordination study
- Cable sizing
Our switchboard partners Dorman Smith managed to pull out all the stops to provide us with the component parts in record time and the switchboard was then manufactured and tested in 2 days. Our good friends a Valley Services assisted us in the delivery and positioning in wheat proved to be a very awkward space.
The project was completed with the site passing their G99 witness test and securing the ability to export green power.
