Smith & Cork Electrical were contracted to undertake the complete design, manufacture and installation of an LV distribution network for a major UK anaerobic digestion plant.
The main 3200A switchboard measured over 10m long, manufactured in sections and then lifted into a modified container at our workshop. The switchboard was then assembled, tested and fixed inside the container ready for delivery to site.
Smith & Cork enlisted the help of a local fabricator to design some bespoke steelwork to raise the container 1.2 meters from the floor to allow safe and easy access for cables from beneath the switchboard. The switchboard was finally delivered to site and positioned onto the waiting framework.
